I’ve just announced a new workshop that I’ll be teaching next month.

This is a cheap, introductory one-day immersion in ‘story thinking’. I want to demonstrate how there is no such thing as a ‘Hollywood structure’.

By showing clips from a broad variety of movies, I will demonstrate how certain scenes can be found in any movie, whether it is arthouse or mainstream. Moreover, they almost always occur at the exact same time.

If you have never taken a Story Department seminar or workshop, this is an absolute must. It is the cheapest workshop I’ve ever organised, to give you the opportunity to get a taste of my teaching.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised how much fun it is to learn the essential aspects of screenwriting and storytelling.

To find more, check out the info and booking page.

Hoping to see you on 5 September in Coogee!
